Compoensator adapter installation for the Byrna CL Model
To install this adapter you must install the 12 gram Co2 extender adapter first, otherwise there is no way to install this adapter.
Parts and Tools need: 1.5mm Allen hex key, Gorilla construction adhesive (clear) sold in local stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s.
Note: this adapter can be installed with only the small screw without adhesive but for permanent installation we suggest to use the adhesive.
- Clean the Co2 extender adapter tube
2. Use any painters tape or electrical tape to cover half of the tube to prevent the adhesive to get onto the byrna plastic,
3. Apply a very small amount of the adhesive around the tube.
4. Carefully remove the tape
5. Slowly install the compensator then align as much as possible the edges then tight the small screw with very low torque, please don’t overtighten.
6. Make a test screwing the Co2 cap, it can be any aftermarket or the factory cap, if the cap is hard to screw is because the little screw is overtighten, to fix this simply loosen the screw a little bit.
